MoreThanNow is a behavioural science practice for the workplace. We conduct scientific-standard experiments with some of the largest and best-known organisations in the world.
about the role
Are you passionate about making the workplace better for all? Do you love experiments and research? Are you obsessed with behavioural science, and would you like to use it to address real-world challenges? If so, we’d love it if you’d apply for our behavioural science internship this spring.
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring behavioural scientist to gain experience in the field. You’ll develop your skills by helping us think through new media and comms channels to share our insights, writing up our research and experiments for new audiences, and innovating our approaches to research dissemination. Additionally, you will be responsible for your own distinct project which will centre around the communication of scientific insight to a business and general audience.
Who we are
MoreThanNow is a behavioural science practice for the workplace. We conduct academic-standard experiments with some of the largest and influential organisations in the world. We’re all extremely passionate about applying behavioural science in the form of running RCT’s to improve working lives and are looking for new teammates who share this passion.
Finally, while we aspire to do great things, we always work as a team, which means sharing strengths and setting each other up for success. We’re open to flexible working options and we’ll never be about long, pressurised hours. We can’t think of anything less conducive to innovative, high-quality research.
what you’ll do
This specific internship has a strong focus on communication of our findings and the translation of scientific insights to a wide audience, which is the focus of your personal project. However, we want you to gain experience in all parts of being a behavioural scientist so the programme will also involve working the team and pitching in on various consulting projects that are running.
Your responsibilities will be a combination of the following tasks:
Advocating for behavioural science through the dissemination of our research.
Helping the team produce video content and editing this to be shared on social media platforms.
Creating thorough literature reviews on the topics that we work on.
Translating data and scientific insights to a wide audience, including writing articles for the general community and summarising findings in one-pagers for clients.
who you are
A passionate behavioural scientist in the early stages of their career, especially interested in applying your knowledge in organisations and through experimental research. Absolutely necessary skills to apply are:
A university degree (or one in progress) and a keen interest in behavioural science and organisations.
Strong communication skills, written as well as verbal.
The right to work in the U.K.
