Quantitative Behavioural Science Intern: Spring 2026

  • Compensation: London living wage - £14.80 per hour.

  • Duration: 1 day a week (8.5 hours), for an 8-week period commencing May 18th.

Are you passionate about making the workplace better for all? Do you love experiments and research? Are you obsessed with behavioural science, and would you like to use it to address real-world challenges? If so, we’d love it if you’d apply for our behavioural data science internship this spring.

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring behavioural data scientist to gain experience in the field. You’ll develop your skills as a behavioural scientist by supporting in applied quantitative analysis, translating your data findings into actionable insight, and helping to better visualise our findings. Additionally, you will be responsible for your own distinct project which will centre around exploratory and predictive data analysis.

what you’ll do

This specific internship has a strong focus on data science. However, we want you to benefit from learning about all aspects of applied behavioural science, so the programme will also involve working the team and pitching in on various ongoing projects.

Your responsibilities will be a combination of the following tasks:

  • Cleaning complicated datasets and combining multiple data sources.

  • Conducting experimental and exploratory data analysis.

  • Translating technical and complex data insights for a wide audience.

  • Data visualisation designing graphs, designing graphs and interactive decks for audiences with varying levels of data literacy.

who you are

A passionate behavioural data scientist in the early stages of your career, especially interested in applying your knowledge through experimental research in organisations.

You have:

  • A master’s university degree (or one in progress) in any field, paired with a genuine passion for behavioural science and a curiosity about how it applies in organisational contexts.

  • Excellent quantitative skills, with the ability to analyse data in R, Python or Stata (R preferred).   

  • Strong communication skills, written as well as verbal and the ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences.

  • The ability to work well with others and in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift.

  • Strong self-organisation and the ability to deliver work to a high standard within agreed deadlines.

  • The right to work in the UK.
