the Work sample question:

Imagine a MoreThanNow partner – a Fortune 500 company – tasks you with identifying the impact of a new culture strategy on experience at work. The data is on 10,000 employees and includes: Microsoft Copilot data (active user y/n, weekly active use), performance ratings (high, medium, low), sales data, culture survey data and demographic data. What primary research question would you prioritise to identify the impact of the new culture strategy on the organisation, and what’s your plan to answer it?

A note on AI use: We believe GenAI is a powerful tool at work and we use it in smart ways at MoreThanNow. We don’t use AI in our hiring process - all applications are reviewed by at least two team members and assessed using clear criteria. Applicants should be aware that we receive lots of applications for these roles and it is hard for candidates to stand out when we see repeated variations of similar AI-generated responses.

the hiring timeline

  • Applications close: 23 September 2026

  • First round phone interviews: 28 September 2026 – 9 October 2026

  • Second round in-person interviews and statistical analysis presentation: 12 October – 20 October 2026

If you move through the process, we will ask you to work on a case study to test your statistical and communication skills. You will receive a dataset and be asked to perform statistical analyses to understand the causal effects of an intervention. You’ll then present your results and insights as part of the second stage interview. Please only apply if you are confident in your ability to demonstrate those skills, and explain your approach and code.
