Behavioural Insights Lead

Based in our lovely offices at Second Home, Spitalfields

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 plus benefits.

Flexible working options welcomed (with open arms).

MoreThanNow is a behavioural change agency using science and creativity to transform the workplace. For us, this means uniting inclusivity, employee happiness and high-performance at work: a relationship that strengthens as we look to the future and away from the here and now.

We believe our mission deserves us at our best; working transparently, empathetically and at the cutting edge of behavioural science. We want to help solve our clients problems AND contribute to a growing understanding of human behaviour. It encourages us to seek out the unknown in every project and explore and experiment with every step.

That’s where you come in.

You already understand the potential of behavioural science and you’re excited about the change it can bring to the workplace. You’ve started to apply its principles to organisational problems but you’re raring to go further and do more…

As our Behavioural Insights Lead, you’ll own the application of behavioural science to one sector or organisational challenge. It’s an entrepreneurial as well as a technical role. While there are already plenty of opportunities to help clients develop more inclusive, ethical or high-performing teams, you’ll help build these relationships as well as leading the projects themselves.

Your work will be diverse and could include anything from auditing the bias in a hiring process, to setting up a behavioural insights unit for one of our partners. Whatever you’re doing, you’ll always follow a similar process of discovery, intervention design and experimentation. And like all of us, you’ll always be learning something new.

  •  An academic background in economics, behavioural science or organisational psychology.
  • Experience applying behavioural science or psychology to the workplace, including the design and statistical analysis of randomised controlled trials.
  • Excellent project management and written and verbal skills.

  • Masters or Ph.D. in economics, behavioural science or organisational psychology.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing and developing client relationships.

We’ll be formally inviting applications in late August 2018 through our friends at Applied, but we’d like to offer a coffee (or tea) to anyone interested in exploring the role in advance.

Please send us a note at if you would like to find out more.
